DiLab i Lund AB is a pioneer and market leader in the field of Automated Blood Sampling (ABS) has been providing solutions to the Life Science Industry for over 20 years. The DiLab^® AccuSampler^® systems are used in preclinical research in major pharmaceutical companies, contract research organisations and universities all over the world. The AccuSampler provides excellent accuracy and reproducibility even at very small sample volumes which now enables automation of studies performed in mice. In addition the AccuSampler® can be used for collecting samples from rats, pigs, dogs etc.

DiLab was established in 1984 in Lund, Sweden.  The company began as a custom developer and manufacturer of laboratory devices for local university and pharmaceutical laboratories.  In the mid 1990’s the company was approached by Novo Nordisk to develop a device to automatically sample blood from small animals.  This was the beginning of the AccuSampler® product line.  The current system is in its 3rd generation.

The worldwide headquarters for DiLab is situated in Lund, Sweden where all research and development activities take place. In addition DiLab has a subsidiary  in the US and sales and support facilities in Japan and India. Since 2010 DiLab is a part of CMA Microdialysis AB, a Swedish medical device and research company with headquarters in Stockholm. CMA develops and markets unique solutions for clinical and research that enable optimized patient care and accelerated drug development. CMA's product portfolio includes a broad range of microdialysis solutions that enable in vivo sampling and monitoring of tissues and blood. Many decisions of endogenous and exogenous molecules. Yet most biochemical and pharmacological events take place in the tissues. By combining the local advantages of microdialysis sampling in the tissue with the benefits of systemic ABS, drug development can potentially become more cost-effective and lead to better understanding of exposure-response relationships that ultimately will help to develop better drug products.

The DiLab^® AccuSampler^® systems are co-developed through business partnerships with many of our customers who provide continuous feedback into our ongoing product development.
